The 2019 Comrades Marathon winners cross the finish line

Edward Mothibi has been crowned the winner of  South Africa’s famous ultra marathon the Comrades with a time of 5:31:33. It was a tight race towards the end with 2nd place Bongmusa Mtembu finishing just 25 seconds after him. Gerda Steyn won the woman's race being the first woman to finish up’ run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg in less than 6 hours
