South Africans restaurants welcome the 'Scenic Special' to help with their financial strain.
In January 2021, restaurants in South Africa were protesting against the ban on the sale of alcohol and calling for the curfew to the lifted that was implemented to slow down the spread of COVID-19.
Due to the curfew and the ban on the sale of alcohol - thousands of restaurants are struggling with financial strain.
Rian van Heerden and the Scenic Drive team came up with a plan to support local restaurants to keep their doors open.
Van Heerden and the team introduced the 'Scenic Special'. The special is created by local restaurants that are available every Wednesday.
