Vodacom Blue Bulls co-captain, Burger Odendaal, spoke to Breakfast Show hosts Martin Bester and Tumi Morake about the rugby season ahead and the current state of the team.
Are you ready for the Vodacom Blue Bulls' clash against the Hurricanes this Saturday?
Bulls coach John Mitchell has named four Springboks in his starting team for their 2018 Super Rugby opener against the Hurricanes - and the team is looking good!
Co-captain Burger Odendaal will lead the team that includes Springboks Warrick Gelant, Jesse Kriel, Handre Pollard and Lood de Jager.
Breakfast Show hosts Martin and Tumi spoke to Burger Odendaal earlier today about how the team is looking ahead of their big game.
"We are looking forward to kicking things off this weekend," Odendaal told the Breakfast Show.
Odendaal says that the team is ready to face-off against the Hurricans.
"You want to test yourselves against the best. I think it is going to be a great challenge, and the men are ready".
Martin and Burger also reflected on Jacaranda FM's Project Water Drop.
"We don't only want to get Loftus full of people, but filled with water as well. I think it's a great initiative and I hope the people will come out and support".
If you're heading out to the game this weekend, lookout for Martin, Tumi, and the rest of the gang who will be there supporting the Bulls all the way!
