What does it take to be a beauty queen?
Well, Adè van Heerden is certainly the epitome of everything a queen needs to be.
South Africa's very own Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters recently managed to snatch the title of Miss Universe 2017. So with Nel-Peters having to fulfill her duties abroad, the Miss South Africa crown was handed down to runner-up Adè van Heerden.
From the secret Miss SA Whatsapp group to the moment she realised she would be the new Miss SA 2017, van Heerden dished all to Martin and Tumi.
She gushed about the moment her good friend Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss Universe.
"You have a feeling in your heart. If it's your destiny then you know. Although I was super nervous, I think I laughed, cried, my hands were sweating and I was jumping up and down," says van Heerden.
We also managed to ask Adè a few 'interesting' questions to get to know who our new Miss SA really is.
Oh, and we weren't joking about Martin loving her crown...
