For the first time since the high-profile defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard opens up to talk about her experience during the trial.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News' Savannah Guthrie, Amber Heard admits to making many "mistakes" in her relationship with Johnny Depp, but insists that she was telling the truth throughout her testimony.
"To my dying day, I’ll stand by every word of my testimony.”

Heard also states that she fears further defamation lawsuits from her ex-husband.
“I’m scared that no matter what I do…every step I take will present another opportunity, for this sort of silencing, which is what, I guess, a defamation lawsuit is meant to do. It’s meant to take your voice.”
On Monday, a clip from the interview was released in which Heard states that the social media representation of the trial has not been "fair."

The full exclusive interview will air first on NBC News’ TODAY on Tuesday, June 14, and Wednesday, June 15. More of the sit-down will air Friday, June 17, at 8pm ET/7 p.m. CT on a special 'Dateline'.
The NBC exclusive interview comes after the 'Aquaman' actress was found guilty of defaming her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, in a 2018 op-ed where she alleged that the actor abused her.
