Attack on football captain Billy Sharp is a worrisome act
Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp has allegedly been attacked by a fan after a celebratory pitch invasion. Read below!
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp was attacked.

The alleged attack happened when Nottingham Forest fans spilled onto the pitch at the end of the Championship play-off semi-final win on Tuesday night.
Forest fans were celebrating being on the cusp of ending a 23-year absence from the Premier League.
The celebration was quickly overshadowed by an unprovoked attack on the Blades striker Sharp.

Sharp watched on from the touchline as the Forest supporters celebrated their 3-2 penalty shootout victory before appearing to be blind-sided by a charging supporter.
