Three young men from Burgersfort in Limpopo are on a mission to set an example for young men in South Africa.

They are cycling 1,700 kilometres from home to the Mother City!

The three – Maxwell “The Goat”, Karabo “The Queen”, and Gauta BMX – left home on April 2 (last Wednesday), on their very basic bicycles, without much planning and with no special equipment or clothing.

What they do have in abundance is determination and passion to spread their message to the youth: stay active, and avoid drugs and gangsterism.

Their epic journey is being documented on TikTok, with the help of DJ Karri, who is also helping them find sponsors and support along the way.

They are expected to sleep over in Leeu Gamka, then Laingsburg, followed by Worcester, before finally reaching Cape Town on Sunday.
