Breakfast with Martin Bester's favourite holiday destinations
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
The holiday season is upon us and we're taking a look at the Breakfast with Martin Bester team's favourite holiday destinations.
After a long time of travel restrictions, South Africans are finally entirely free to travel across the country and go to their most desired travel destinations.
We're taking a look at some of the best travel destinations as chosen by your morning family:
Martin Bester's favourite holiday destination
According to Martin Bester, he has a special place he likes to visit in Die Groot Karoo.
For those who enjoy the dry summer heat, Die Groot Karoo could also be your place to visit.
Xola Ntshinga's favourite holiday destination
Instead of one specific travel destination, Xola shared his three favourite travel destinations.
These include the Drakensberg - specifically in the KwaZulu-Natal region, the Wild Coast in Eastern Cape, and Wilderness in the Western Cape.
Philicity Reeken's favourite holiday destination
According to Philicty Reeken, her favourite travel destination is anywhere she can take her children with her. She believes any destination could be great if she gets to spend it with her family.
"But, if I had to choose, I would say any place in the wild, in the bush specifically Marloth Park near the Kruger National Park," she said.
Gerda de Sousa's favourite holiday destination
During the year, Gerda de Sousa will board a plane and fly to any place in the world, but come December, the only place to go is Herolds Bay on the southern Cape coast.
"That’s where my whole family have been going on holiday for generations and that is where my heart lies when the new year comes," said de Sousa.
