VIDEO: CCTV catches woman stealing from shopper at local supermarket
South Africans are outraged after footage of a woman stealing in a local supermarket was shared on social media.
As South Africans, we know that crime is rampant in our country, but still, more often than not, we think it won’t happen to us.
CCTV footage of a woman stealing from another customer at a local supermarket has left South Africans feeling outraged.

The video shows a distracted customer looking for items in a fridge, leaving her handbag unattended.
This created the perfect opportunity for another woman to reach into the bag and grab an item from it.
In an instant, the woman grabs the item and hurries off with what looks like a male counterpart.
The victim unknowingly continues shopping, unaware that she has been robbed.
Many X users were left in shock and disappointed over the incident.
