Celine Dion reveals incurable neurological disorder diagnosis

French-Canadian singer Celine Dion has postponed her tour dates due to an incurable neurological disorder.
In an emotional video on Instagram, French-Canadian singer Celine Dion announced that she had to postpone her current tour dates due to a neurological disorder.
The 'My Heart Will Go On' singer revealed that she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). SPS is a rare neurological disorder with features of an autoimmune disease.

Dion addressed the situation on her Instagram account in an emotional video.
According to the singer, the condition makes her muscles spasm uncontrollably and has also left her with difficulties walking and singing.
"I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through…It hurts me to tell you that I won’t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February,” Dion said in her Instagram post.

Dion said in the video that the disease is extremely rare and "affects something like one in a million people".
"While we're still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what's been causing all of the spasms I've been having," she said.
