Criminals imitate dogs to avoid security beams going off

Once you think you’ve seen it all, something like this happens…
As South Africans, we go to great lengths to ensure the safety of our families, homes, and other belongings, but some criminals always just seem to be one step ahead.
In a recent video clip shared on Twitter, a group of criminals can be seen imitating animals to prevent security beams from going off.

The group of men ominously crawl on the driveway floor in an animal-like fashion towards the parking garage entrance.
Once all three of them reach the garage door, they work together to lift the door to gain entry into the house.
The men then quickly make light work of stealing a motorbike that was parked in the garage.

At the end of the video, once they have the motorbike, they quickly exit the scene, not caring to keep a low profile by crawling anymore.

Interesting to see suspects continue to crawl around in order to imitate dogs - as most security beams are set up to ignore family pets. Your defence works in layers - beams, contacts and cameras. That is always your first line after your physical fence and its attachments. pic.twitter.com/VnwMX3MAOh
