Customer tips waiters R6,000 after their delicious meal

In January 2021, restaurants in South Africa were protesting against the ban on the sale of alcohol and calling for the curfew to be lifted that was implemented to slow down the spread of COVID-19.
Due to the curfew and the ban on the sale of alcohol - thousands of restaurants are struggling with financial strain.

Restaurants are still recovering from patrons not visiting due to the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa.
In a heart-warming turn of events, a loyal customer tipped the staff R500 each at the Durbanville branch.

Simply Asia said: “We are grateful for the generous contribution made to the store and staff during these difficult times.”
