Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
The talented singer joined Breakfast with Martin Bester on 17 July to confirm he is doing well under the lockdown circumstances.

Dirk’s housemate, Melissa, tested positive for COVID-19 and it has forced him to make sure he did not contract the virus.
Van der Westhuizen is awaiting his test results and we wish him good health!
A new season has arrived in Dirk’s life and career. In the next few weeks, he will be starting to share songs that have more depth in lyrics.

Thirteen of the 15 new songs that form part of his 'Dirty 30’s' CD were written by himself with DJ Skeady.
Dirk van der Westhuizen told Martin Bester he is excited to enter the 30's! He happily said he woke up with a new mindset and is excited to see what this year will have in store for him.
The musician decided he will use a lot of symbolism and tell deeper stories.
We're very excited about Dirk van der Westhuizen's new music!
