Asking for a doggy bag can be intimidating and a little embarrassing - especially in an upmarket restaurant.

For many people, taking a doggy bag home can be very embarrassing. However, some say there is nothing wrong with it.
Martin Bester says that he takes a doggy bag home if he still has food left.
According to Liesl, there is absolutely nothing wrong with taking home a doggy bag because you paid for your meal.

One caller said that it is absolutely tacky. A caller from Gauteng said that there is nothing wrong with taking your leftover food home. However, she wants to pack her own food in the doggy bag and not the waiter.
