Good news for South African travellers as domestic flight prices are set to drop!
Domestic flight prices are said to drop early in 2023 according to Chief Marketing Officer, Kirby Gordon, at FlySafair.
According to Getaway Magazine, Gordon "expect that airfares will really normalise in late January to early February".
The change in flight prices prompted the Breakfast with Martin Bester team to discuss the current prices of cars, houses and other accommodation in South Africa. Here is what they had to say:

"This will be a product of a natural lull in seasonal demand and, more significantly, an increase in the number of seats available in the market," Gordon added.
Gordon confirmed that FlySafair is committed to adding more boeings to its fleet which is expected to help reduce ticket prices and "alleviate the shortage of seats".
The change in flight prices comes as great news for the tourism industry which is seeing significant growth after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gordon also suggested that people should try and delay their holidays to the last two weeks of January to benefit from the new prices.
