Dramatic stolen truck chase ends in arrest
A scene that looked as if it was straight out of a movie unfolded in Porterville in the Western Cape.
A man stole a truck and desperately wanted to get away.
The incident was captured on CCTV footage.
According to police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, the 27-year-old alleged truck-jacker stole the 29-ton Scania truck in front of a bank in Porterville.

The police managed to bring the truck to a halt and arrested the suspect.
