VIDEO: Driver runs over criminal during attempted hijacking
It's undeniable: South Africans are officially fed up with criminals running rampant in the country.
As South Africans, we are faced with the impact of crime on a daily basis, as criminals roam the streets of our beloved nation.
It comes as no surprise that citizens feel forced to take matters into their own hands and respond to criminal threats.

A recent video, circulating on social media, vividly illustrates the ongoing challenges South African drivers face on a daily basis: the decision of fight or flight. In this instance, the choice was clearly to fight.
The video, seemingly captured by a dashboard camera in a car, begins with a driver coming to a halt at a traffic light which is out of order.
As the driver slows down, a man in a red shirt suddenly darts in front of the car while pulling out a firearm and aiming it at the driver.

With no time to spare, the driver opts to accelerate rather than stop, ultimately running over the hijacker.
