Drone footage shows Zama Zamas back in action in Benoni

Illegal miners are currently running massive operations around Germiston, Brakpan, Springs, Golden Drive and Putfontein, Benoni. See the footage below!
Drone footage released on Twitter by Yusuf Abramjee, an anti-crime activist, shows hundreds of illegal miners (Zama Zamas) "running massive operations" between Snake Road and Putfontein, Benoni in the East Rand of Gauteng.

These operations also spread over a wider area which includes Germiston, Brakpan, and Springs.
"There is a village of illegal buyers and processing plants in Cloverdene and Golden Drive," Abramjee said on Twitter.
Residents from these areas are sharing their concerns and fear over the lack of police services and intervention.
