Durban July 2020 set to be a virtual extravaganza
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Joburg’s biggest stars flock to Durban every year for the much-anticipated event.

Remember when Liesl Laurie attended the Durban July and Bonang Matheba’s dress weighed 9kg?
The popular horseracing and fashion day is set to continue during the national lockdown, but not like we’ve come to know it.
Durban July’s website states, “Following the announcement that the 2020 Vodacom Durban July will be run ‘behind closed doors’ at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on Saturday 25 July, the event’s fashion team are planning to keep fashion alive wherever possible.”

The event is planning to keep the passion for the 124-year-old iconic race day going with remote pre-race day and off-site race day fashion elements.
However, a picture surfaced on Twitter of how viewers can enjoy the weekend.
