Eldos boy band CLJ is taking over South Africa
On Monday, boy band CLJ from Eldorado Park visited Breakfast with Martin Bester to perform a mashup of some of their favourite songs.
CLJ, a boy band from Eldorado Park, consists of members Joaquin Jardine, Elim Solomon, Leandre Johnson, and Chadwill Johnson.
The boys all attended the same local high school in Eldorado Park called, Eldomaine High School, and this was where they formed their group.

The group was formed in 2021 when they started mashing up songs, doing covers, and performing locally. Later, the band even enjoyed a few viral moments on TikTok.
On Monday, the band joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to perform a mashup of their favourite songs.

The melodic boy band all hail from the south and formed a group not long after one of the boys, Joaquin Jardine, won the EldosFM Sing for Your Dream competition in 2021.
As part of the earnings, he recorded his first single and music video for the Eldorado Park favourite ‘Lying to Myself’, also making it to the local newspaper, EldosTimes. Joaquin met cousins Leandre and Chadwill Johnson, who are from a strong jazz guitarist family, while playing the guitar outside his family home.

Working and learning together on the guitar, they formed CLJ (Coloured Lives Justified).
After much work with EldosFM doing youth shows and a June 16th truck show on Ext 3's famous Die Blad platform, the boys started posting a lot on TikTok and were later joined by Elim Solomon, a young worship singer and upcoming pianist at his local church, PPC (Pentecostal Protestant Church).
