Five new sports to watch at Tokyo Olympics 2021

The anticipation is building ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
Due to COVID-19, the Olympics was postponed for a year.
According to Athletics Weekly, there will be six new sports at the Tokyo Olympics, and it will include karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. The other two sports are baseball and softball.
The International Olympic Committee approved the additions to the Games.

Fans will be able to see surfers at Tsurigasaki Beach on Japan’s Pacific coast. Martin Bester is extremely excited to see skateboarders at the Games. The Olympians will be divided into two groups: park and street.
Baseball and softball will be reintroduced for the first time since 2008.
Breakfast with Martin Bester recently spoke to Tuks swimmer, Pieter Coetzé. He set himself the goal of trying to achieve what few South African male swimmers, if any, have been able to do - that is qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games at the age of 16.
Guess what? Pieter qualified and he is on his way to the Olympics!

According to Jacaranda FM News, no alcohol, no hugs, no cheers, and no autographs: Tokyo Olympic organisers unveiled tough new rules for spectators at the pandemic Games on Wednesday, as they marked one month until the opening ceremony.
