FlySafair flight: Zero tolerance against non-mask wearing passenger

A passenger refused to wear his mask on a FlySafair flight.
The plane was preparing to depart from Cape Town International Airport to Johannesburg, but flight FA201 had to be delayed so that a man could be escorted off the airplane.
A video of the incident surfaced on social media platforms.

Friend of Breakfast with Martin Bester and Chief Marketing Officer at FlySafair, Kirby Gordon, said: “We regret to confirm there was an incident involving an unruly passenger who was escorted off one of our flights.”
The founder of Flysafair said on Twitter: “You don’t have to be cool to be a flight attendant. But if you are cool, calm and collected – you are probably a flight attendant.”
