The four major hijacking hotspots in Pretoria
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Here's a list of the top four spots in Pretoria where you are most likely to get hijacked.
According to the latest crime statistics released by the South African Police Service, more than 5,400 carjacking incidents were reported in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024/2025 (April 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024).
Although that is a 0.9% decrease from the previous year (April 1, 2023, to June 30, 2023), hijacking remains a major issue in South Africa.
