Freezing weather results in South Africans snowboarding on farm

Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo are all set to take out extra winter blankets because of temperatures dropping this weekend, according to the South African Weather Service.
An intense cold front is expected to hit parts of inland South Africa.
"We are expecting Pretoria to be at a maximum of 18 degrees, Johannesburg at 16 degrees and Vereeniging 16 degrees” says Forecaster Edward Engelbrecht.

Meanwhile, in Sea Point in Cape Town, a massive wave was experienced, scaring motorists.

The stormy and cold weather didn't stop there. A video posted by Snow Report SA shows a 'Carla and friends' doing some "extreme" snowboarding outside Ceres in the Western Cape.
