Google employees to make their home an office until 2021

Google made the decision to let 200 000 employees work from home until July 2021.

As coronavirus cases surge in America, the company decided to ensure the safety of its employees by extending their time working from home.
The Chief executive Sundar Pichai announced a new timetable in an e-mail to ‘give employees the ability to plan ahead.’
Several tech firms have said they expect to reopen their offices gradually in the coming months.

Google’s move could motivate other companies to do the same.
Twitter meanwhile has said it would allow all employees to continue on remote work indefinitely.
