South African UFC champion Dricus du Plessis has been the talk of the town since his victory against rival Israel Adesanya at UFC 305 on Sunday, 18 August.
What you might not know, however, is that 'Stillknocks' launched a new sports drink, Knox, with Checkers.
Checkers announced the collaboration with Du Plessis before his highly-anticipated fight against Adesanya.

The launch included two locally produced products – an apparel brand ‘Stillknocks’ and the new sports drink Knox.
The retail giant also made it clear that Knox is not an energy drink but a hydration drink that is caffeine-free and low in kilojoules, with only 350kj per 500ml can.
According to BusinessTech, the drink contains magnesium and taurine, a common ingredient in energy drinks for extra energy.
Knox retails at R19.99 each and is available in five flavours:
- Lemon Lime
- Blue Raspberry
- Strawberry Watermelon
- Orange Naartjie
- Peach
Du Plessis' victory against rival Israel Adesanya
UFC champion Dricus du Plessis had the whole world talking after he managed to defend his title during his much-anticipated fight against Israel Adesanya on Sunday.
'Stillknocks' and the Nigerian-New Zealand mixed martial artist had some unfinished business after they developed quite the rivalry leading up to their fight.

The rivalry created quite a buzz ahead of their UFC 305 fight, with many wondering who would emerge victorious.
In the end, Du Plessis managed to keep his title as UFC champion with a fourth-round submission from Adesanya.
Following the highly-anticipated fight, the fighters sat down in a post-fight press conference to take questions from the media.
