Hillary Clinton weighs in on Oprah's royal interview

In January 2020, the couple stepped down as active royals and have since moved to the United States to set up a new life with their son, Archie.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and her husband, Prince Harry, sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview about racism within the royal family, Archie not receiving a royal title, struggling with mental health, Prince Charles cutting ties with his youngest son, and using the money his mother, Princess Diana, left him.
Markle and Prince Harry's exclusive interview with Oprah aired on Monday, 8 March, in South Africa.
Hillary Clinton spoke to The Washington Post and said: “Every institution has got to make more space and acceptance for young people coming up, particularly young women, who should not be forced into a mold that is no longer relevant, not only for them, but for our society.”

"It was heartbreaking to see the two of them sitting there, having to describe how difficult it was to be accepted and to be integrated."
This comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spoke about the alleged racism within the royal family.
Markle revealed that “concerns and conversations about how dark his (Archie's) skin might be when he’s born” were brought up to her husband ahead of her son’s birth.
