From winning prestigious titles like the Nelson Mandela Plate, Freedom Cup, and Rugby Championship to finishing their year-end tour of the UK unbeaten, the Boks have been a force to be reckoned with.

A recent tweet by Cash N Sport revealed a breakdown of just how much Springbok players earn based on several categories of gameplay.

According to these figures, each Springbok player earns a staggering R118,197.93 per test match.

This is a fully funded amount by the South African Rugby Union (SARU).

However, it's important to note that this figure excludes any match bonuses tied to trophies like the Nelson Mandela Plate, Freedom Cup, Rugby Championship, and the Rugby World Cup.

SARU ensures that the players, whether they are playing or non-playing members, are well taken care of.

It's worth noting that these figures apply only to players participating in test matches, while non-playing squad members earn a daily rate.

Additionally, players released to provinces as part of the training squad still receive daily compensation.
