“I can’t believe I’m alive” – Spoegwolf’s Danie after car accident
Danie du Toit, the lead singer of Spoegwolf, was involved in a car accident just outside Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.
Danie and his actress girlfriend, Marguerite van Eeden, enjoyed breakfast in Durbanville that morning.
On his return to Stellenbosch, Danie lost control of his car.
Danie says he cannot remember much about the accident. The road was very wet and when he realised what was happening, he had already lost control of his vehicle and it ended up in a ditch.

We’re very happy Marguerite was not in the car with him as they drove in separate vehicles.
Danie escaped with no injuries - his pants were torn and his favourite watch stopped working.
