"It was beyond terrifying" - Eyewitness of Johannesburg mall shooting

Eyewitness accounts of the Bedford Centre robbery in Bedfordview sent shivers down the spine on Breakfast with Martin Bester.
According to Jacaranda FM News, police have launched a manhunt for an unconfirmed number of alleged robbers following a shooting incident at a jewellery store on Sunday around midday at Bedford Centre in Bedfordview, during which one suspect was fatally shot.
Less than 24 hours later, various eyewitnesses called Breakfast with Martin Bester to explain what they experienced in the mall on Sunday, 24 November.

According to the police's Brigadier Mathapelo Peters, the police recovered an AK47 rifle on the scene with two loaded magazines. The firearm will be subjected to ballistic testing for further investigation.
Martin Bester is asking the pertinent questions: "Are shopping centres doing enough to protect shoppers during this time of the year? Are people safe in malls?"
