Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels on Breakfast with Martin Bester will be taking to TV with 'Omgee-Engele'.
A story that touched Martin Bester is that of 21-year-old Lordwick Kgatle. At the end of 2018, Martin Bester had the privilege of meeting the exceptional young man. He had completed his first year of business management studies, after funding himself by recycling dustbin trash, washing cars, doing garden work, and cutting hair.
In the second episode of 'Omgee-Engele' on Via TV, the story of Lordwick’s dedication will be highlighted, as well as a surprise at the end of the episode not to be missed!

Kgatle is a recycler, but that’s not how he intends to spend the rest of his life. He mines through trash to find recyclable goods, which he then sells for cash and puts towards his studies in Business Management.
He dedicates three days a week to trash mining. The other four days of the week, Lordwick is in class for lectures, tests or exams to obtain his diploma in Business Administration. Lordwick approached GMA in 2018 for the R8,000 he needed to pay his final instalment for the year. Then only, could he move on to work and earn his second-year tuition funds of R23,000 for 2019.
