Are you scared AI might replace you in the future? Here are the jobs that are most at risk…
The rise of AI has come with many benefits, enabling people to do things that once required skills and streamlining mundane tasks.
Despite its benefits, many live in fear of the negative impact that AI can have on employment.
AI has already made waves across the workforce, with many companies working hard to see how they can use the new advanced technology to improve productivity.

According to Rajan Naidoo, Managing Director of EduPower Skills Academy, AI operates much faster than humans, and there is no doubt that AI will out-compete them on many levels.
"It is true that, just like with new technologies in the past, AI will most certainly lead to attrition of certain jobs going forward," said Advaita Naidoo, Africa MD at Jack Hammer Global.
A report by Tech.co, 'The Impact of Technology on the Workplace', showed jobs and tasks that are and are not at risk of being replaced by AI.
According to the research, writing, design, and language translation are still safe despite being thought otherwise.
Jobs that are at risk:
- Supply chain optimisation
- Legal research
- Financial analysis
- Predictive maintenance on fixed assets
According to Tech.co, other jobs that are vulnerable to AI include entry-level admin roles, data entry clerks, software engineers and coders, customer service reps, paralegals, graphic designers, bankers and accountants, traders, fact-checkers, and proofreaders.

- User experience and human-computer interaction specialists
- Creative professionals who can collaborate with AI tools.
- AI Ethics Officer
