Johannesburg matriculant to study at Harvard University

Johannesburg matriculant Sazi Bongwe bagged nine distinctions and will be heading to Harvard University. Bongwe spoke to Breakfast with Martin Bester about his incredible achievement.
Johannesburg matriculant and Head of School, Sazi Bongwe, will head to Harvard University for the 2022 academic year.

Bongwe, from St. John's College, bagged nine distinctions in his final matric examinations with an average of 95.9%.
Breakfast with Martin Bester spoke to Bongwe about what this achievement means to him and how he prepared for it.

"It was tough. I want to salute everyone," Bongwe said.
Bongwe mentioned that matric really is the pinnacle of your schooling career.
"There is nothing like matric."
