Karen Zoid, who is celebrating 20 years in the music industry, is doing something spectacular this Friday!
Two weeks after Karen Zoid’s living room performance on Breakfast with Martin Bester, she takes it to the roof of her apartment!
Karen Zoid is known for her mind-blowing live performances and says: "Whether I am busking or when I am playing to a huge crowd, the feeling I get from delivering my music is still the same. Playing live - that's what I love! I can’t raise the roof during lockdown but I can play my guitar on top of it."
That is exactly why the musician decided to do a sunset performance with a 360-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean, Table Mountain, and Lion's Head in the background.

Zoid stepped into the studio one day before the national lockdown to record ‘Toe Die Wêreld Stil Gaan Staan’.
She confesses to Martin Bester: "I miss my band. It’s weird sitting alone and singing without them. Neil Sandilands came to visit me, I called Early B and we recorded this song a day before lockdown."
