She took her child out of the school after she was bullied.
"We have been struggling with bullying since Grade 1. It was first emotional bullying, and then my daughter was physically bullied," the mother told Martin Bester.
"I don't know why they bully me. They just hurt me. If they bully me, I just walk away and then they make fun of me," the daughter said.
"The teachers don't listen to me. They just believe the bullies. I tried my best, but the teachers don't listen to me."
Life Coach Monique Engelbrecht joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to give advice on what the best practice is when your child is bullied.
Monique is a certified Kids Life Coach and practices in association with the Kids Life Studio. Fuelled by her motivation to empower children, Monique pursued her studies in Psychology and graduated with honours.
