Little Mix crowned the most successful group in UK

Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the British version of 'The X Factor'.
Little Mix have officially become the most successful group in UK history as their latest track, ‘Sweet Melody’, tops the charts.
The group, with members Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, released their sixth studio album on 6 November 2020.
They now have six number one hits! Before their sixth album, the popstars were tied with Britain’s Clean Bandit and One Direction, who each have five number one hits.

A group is a word which usually refers to a gathering of performers in music. A band, however, refers more specifically to people who play musical instruments.
