Local hero aims to make life lighter for owners of looted businesses

During the unrest in the country, a feel-good post caught our attention!
Many South Africans are stepping up to help whoever they can after protesters looted businesses in certain areas in Johannesburg and KwaZulu-Natal.
One such kind soul is Nikki Vace-Lyle.
Nikki posted on the ‘I Love Bryanston’ group: “If anyone needs assistance during this time, I am available in the mornings. Whether it be to help store owners clean up the mess from the looters, assist you with buying and delivering essential items or general help as needed during this crisis, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I don’t have money, but I have time.”

Breakfast with Martin Bester immediately called Nikki.
Nikki told Martin Bester: “When looking at what we can do as South Africans and how we can assist those in desperate need, I do want to help. I want to be part of the good movement and I love my country."
