Local hero Leo Prinsloo spotted in latest Nando’s ad
Do you remember the story about Leo Prinsloo? He now features in a Nando's advert!
An attempted robbery in Pretoria resulted in dramatic footage being captured as armed robbers shot at a vehicle multiple times.
The driver, Leo Prinsloo, fought off an intense and dangerous armoured car heist attempt. He tried to manoeuvre himself and his partner to safety and thanks to his clear thinking and bravery, they’re lucky to be alive!
The dashcam footage of the incident shows two men driving in a bulletproof vehicle. Seconds later, bullets can be seen hitting the windows as the two men in the vehicle remain calm and think of their next move - planning for survival.

The driver of the vehicle, Leo, is a former member of the Police Special Task Force and currently an instructor at the security company, The Edge Shooting Academy, where he works.
Months later, Nando’s released an ad which features Leo!
At the core of the advert is the fast-food chain's new R49 prego and chips meal.
