LOOK: This is what SA's perfect partner looks like
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Breakfast with Martin Bester asked AI to create what SA's ideal partner looks like based on data collected from residents.
Beauty standards have changed drastically over the years, and knowing what people find attractive can be difficult.
Luckily, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what people find attractive depends on the individual.
That being said, beauty ideals do change over time, and people's preferences and attractions are often shaped by new-age beauty ideals and what society finds attractive.
Lingerie company Pour Moi found this interesting and wanted to establish which personality traits and physical features people currently find most sexually appealing in a romantic partner.

Using data from a survey conducted with adults from different nations worldwide, the lingerie company could finally settle what people find attractive.
Adults from Australia, Canada, France, India, Italy, South Africa, the UK, and the US were asked to highlight the physical traits that turn them on.
The results showed that "freckles" and "natural makeup" were some of the hottest features in women.
Facial hair and "tattoos" were some of the sexiest physical traits in a man.
What did South Africans find attractive?
For South Africans, the most attractive traits in men were shaved hair, brown kind eyes, big lips, and piercings.
The most attractive traits in women were dark, wavy long hair, brown fox eyes, and a flair for glam makeup.

It's not all about appearances
Respondents in the survey also revealed which personality traits they found most attractive.

Here are the top 10 qualities from the data:
- Sense of humour (60%)
- Thoughtfulness (49%)
- Intelligence (28%)
- Looks (25%)
- Scent/smell (17%)
- Actions (16%)
- Mannerisms (15%)
