Luxury vehicle showroom invaded by 40 people in Cape Town

The shocking incident was captured on CCTV footage.
Hundreds of thousands of Rands worth of damage was caused to nearly 20 luxury cars at a car dealership in the North Gate business park in Brooklyn, Cape Town on Wednesday.
Sources said on Wednesday that two minibus taxis with almost 40 men arrived at the premises of The Toy Shop, a car dealer that sells luxury vehicles.

The suspects allegedly entered the show room, threatened staff with firearms, and demanded to be given vehicles.
After their request was refused, they proceeded to vandalise the cars on the showroom floor.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
