The man behind the viral 2015 dress, which still divides people based on what colour they believe the garment actually is, has been arrested.

In 2015, social media was set ablaze after the viral, 'The Dress', divided the world on whether it was black and blue or white and gold.
Now, nine years after one of the most iconic social media debacles, the man behind the viral post, Keir Johnston, has been sent to prison.
Keir was sent to jail after he admitted to attempting to murder his wife by strangling her.
PEOPLE first reported in 2023 that the 38-year-old was indicted in the High Court in Glasgow on a charge of attempted murder of his wife, Grace.
Johnston was also accused of a spree of domestic violence and coercive behaviour against his wife over 11 years.
According to PEOPLE, court documents stated that he repeatedly placed his hands around Grace's neck, restricting her breathing.
He allegedly also threatened to kill her while holding a knife.
Keir allegedly said, "Somebody is going to die”, as per online reports from the High Court in Glasgow, Scotland.
