Martin Bester was commentator at the boxing match of the year!
The highly anticipated celebrity boxing match between rock royalty Francois Van Coke and rugby royalty Derick Hougaard took place on Saturday night in Pretoria.
Francois Van Coke rose to fame as the frontman of South African rock bands Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel.

Derick Hougaard played flyhalf for the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup and for the Bulls in the Super Rugby competitions. He was also a Springbok.
Francois van Coke was victorious in the boxing match, after months of fitness and boxing training.
This global live stream of the match, live from Time Square casino, had South Africa talking.

Fans could be in Francois or Liefling’s corner, but rock won the night with Francois van Coke showing Derick Hougaard who’s the boss of the ring.
