Green’s national costume, which she revealed at her farewell, was designed by Malikah Hajee and Lloyd Kandlin. They took inspiration for the show-stopping national costume from South Africa’s national bird, the blue crane:

Inspiration for the farewell gown has been drawn from current trends in fabrics and silhouettes that can be seen on Bella Hadid or Kendal Jenner. This dress is cheeky and sexy, with a lot of sheer elements and cut-outs. The dress is modern and adaptable and can be worn on the red carpet, as well as on the stage of Miss Universe.
Former Miss SA Liesl Laurie said farewell to Green in Sandton on Thursday afternoon.
Green also revealed The National Gift to The Universe necklace designed by her - in collaboration with Jack Friedman Jewellers, which pays tribute to her hometown Cape Town.
Here is a magnificent video of the national gift that our @Official_MissSA @TamarynGreen will be presenting to the @MissUniverse this year.
