The more chores a man does in the home, the higher the divorce rate
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
A study has revealed that the more chores a man does, the more likely it is that his marriage will end.
Norwegian researchers analysed 20,000 men and women aged 18 to 79 and they had to answer questions about the division of housework and childcare; their attitudes toward gender equality; as well as other variables like life stage and social class.
Results showed that the majority of women do more chores in the household. However, when a man does more chores, the higher the divorce rate will be.

Women who are more financially independent and educated are more likely to do fewer chores.
These women can easily manage a divorce.
