"My wife is the captain" - Springbok legend John Smit

Former Springbok captain John Smit joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to chat about a very special rugby event.

John Smit is a former Springbok captain. He led the team to victory at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
Smit recently moved back to South Africa and mentioned that his wife has moved them 16 times in 15 years.
"She does all the work and she is so patient," he said.
Smit also admitted that his wife Roxy is actually the captain of their household.
"I'm back in South Africa but the N1 road is still a monster!
"My family is still in Durban and I will move back at the end of the year."

Smit also talked about the upcoming South Africa Hall Of Fame event.
"Listeners can buy an R30,000 nine-seater table, and be seated next to a rugby legend."
There is also normal tables of ten and individual tickets for sale. Every seat will get two test tickets per person. Every guest attending the event will receive two tickets to the test between Argentina and the Springboks at Loftus on the 17th of August.
