Official teaser trailer for 'Joker' sequel released
Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix are caught in a Bad Romance in the upcoming 'Joker' sequel.
The highly-anticipated teaser trailer for the 'Joker' sequel was officially released on Wednesday.
The dark and gritty trailer shows Joker and Harley Quins' "meet cute" in Arkham Asylum, where their frantic love affair allegedly starts.

It follows the pair's plan to break out of their straight jackets and take on the world.
Clips from the film showcase Joker and Quinn's manic relationship, from dancing in the streets of Arkham City to wreaking havoc in the fictional city.

Grammy Award-winner Lady Gaga will be portraying the role of Harley Quinn in the sequel.
Gaga will be portraying the role of Dr Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn) alongside Joaquin Phoenix, who will be reprising his role as The Joker.
The sequel to 'Joker' (2019) is set to be a musical called 'Joker: Folie à Deux.'

'Folie à Deux' references a delusion or mental illness shared by two people, which could suggest the chaotic and often insane relationship between Joker and his love interest, Harley Quinn.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gaga's version of the infamous anti-hero will exist in a different universe than actor Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. Robbie played Harley in 'Suicide Squad' (2016), 'Birds of Prey' (2020), and 'The Suicide Squad' (2020).
Although many details of the film and its plot are still unknown, it has been confirmed that it will be "mostly a jukebox musical."
Todd Phillips, the film's director, told Variety that the 'Joker' sequel will integrate 15 reinterpretations of "very well-known" songs.
