The one South African Trump follows on Twitter

Neither have we – until now. 

We have since established that Trump, who has 51.5 million Twitter followers, follows only 48 Twitter accounts and only one South African!

Trump has been very selective of who he follows, with Trump family members, Golf club accounts, and White House representatives and Fox News presenters making the cut. 

Trump is an avid golf supporter and player which is undoubtedly one of the reasons the president of the United States follows Gary Player, the South African golfing legend who turned 81 at the time of Trump’s tweet.

Gary Player is a South African professional golfer and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame 44 years ago.
