At least the waiter walked away with an incredible R11,450 cash tip…

Even then, we might opt to be a little more frugal and not order the most expensive items on the menu.

However, this is not the case for everyone.
On Monday morning, 8 July, a patron in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, racked up an insane amount of R114,518 on alcohol at Rockets restaurant.
Including the waiter's tip of R11,452.80, the bill totalled a whopping R125,969.80.
The receipt, which entertainment blogger Musa Khawula shared on X, showed that the patron settled his bill at 4am on Monday morning at Rockets Club in Umhlanga Rocks.
