Liesl Laurie unveils the brand new Miss South Africa 2019 crown

The brand new Miss South Africa 2019 crown was unveiled by our very own Liesl Laurie at a glamorous event in Johannesburg.
The dazzling Miss South Africa pageant taking place on Women’s Day, August 9 – is set to entertain and wow the crowds!

At the start of August Liesl Laurie, who won the title of Miss South Africa 2015 and is currently the host of Jacaranda FM's Chamberlains Top 20 and part of the Breakfast with Martin Bester team, was announced as a supporting host for the Miss South Africa.
Liesl and Zavion Kotze will support media personality, Bonang Matheba who as will be the anchor host for the ceremony that will be held at Time Square in Pretoria.
At a glamorous event held in Midrand on Monday, Liesl unveiled the brand new Miss South Africa 2019 crown - and it is beautiful!
The brand new Miss South Africa crown has been named Ubuhle Bethungo Lenkosazana which means 'beauty of the rainbow' in isiZulu. The crown weighs more than half a kilogram and is stunned with 2586 sparking zirconia stones.
Laurie also stunned the crowd in a breathtaking shoulderless red dress!
