Pretoria streets that will be affected by march on Friday

Several Pretoria streets will be affected by a service delivery march on Friday, 25 October.
Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) have warned Pretoria road users that several Pretoria roads will be affected by a march taking place on Friday.
According to the TMPD, residents of Zone 2, Ga-Rankuwa, will be marching for better service delivery in Pretoria Central.

"The purpose of the march is for residents to march for better service delivery, primarily for road infrastructure in Ga-Rankuwa."
Pretoria Rekord reported that marchers are expected to gather at 09:00 at the open space on the corner of Kgosi Mampuru and Madiba streets and march to Tshwane House.
The route of the march is as follows:
From the gathering point, they will join Madiba Street and proceed straight until they arrive at Tshwane House.

They are expected to disperse from the Tshwane House at 12:00.
The following streets will be affected:
- Madiba Street
- Kgosi Mampuru Street
- Sophie de Bryun Street
- Bosman Street
- Paul Kruger Street
- Thabo Sehume Street
- Lillian Ngooyi Street
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes such as:
- Nana Sita Street
- Francis Baard Street
- Struben Street
Tshwane Metro Police and South African Police Service officers will be deployed to monitor the march and all affected streets.
